2009-10-17: David D helping G-Pa mow the lawn

The other Saturday we were enjoying David at our house. Doug needed to mow so proceeded with that. When David saw him outside he had to join G-Pa so he started to run after him following him as he went around the back yard (G-Ma thought he would tire VERY soon!) He didn't so Doug let him "help" as then he knew where David was! David looked very proud to be able to mow like G-Pa!

David looked ready to jump on top of the leaves until G-Ma stopped him! I told him the leaves were very wet so we had to wait until the front yard where the leaves were dry.

They worked hard going 'round and 'round,

up & down SO many times...time to rest!

Helping to put leaves into the garbage can with/like G-Pa!

Afterwards he went around to the garbage can wheels to push the wheels to go round and round.

In the end he never did jump in the leaves before they went into the garbage can! Just too busy being a typical little boy playing with the wheels!! A fun afternoon.
