2008-08-19 David at 1st MN Twins baseball game

Our church, Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren, got group tickets to attend "Lutheran Night Out" for the Twins game on August 19th. Julie, David, David D, and I rode the light rail train from near the MOA to the Metrodome (David D and my 1st ride on this train). The train was packed. While we waited DD enjoyed some time climbing through this sign.

Soon his Daddy had him watch for the coming train...
"What is this thing?.."

The train is all decorated...

Once we got off there were SO many people..doesn't David look overwhelmed!
The ticket lady was excited for David to see his 1st game!

Once inside we quickly found Grandpa who carried him up the many steps to our seats.

David taking in all the noise and people!

There's a ball down there??? Where?? I can't see it!
Secure in Mom's lap..

The happy family enjoying the game

The sign listed our church name with other Lutheran church groups attending.
Taken from across the stadium (sorry its blurry)

We were in section 226

David lasted quite well but it was getting way past bedtime so the family
left about the 6th inning. G&G stayed for the whole game!
A fun time was had by all !

How fun to think that both of our grandsons got to see their first Twins game this month! Think of the fun they will have in the years to come! Looks like you had a wonderful time together as both family and as friends from ELBC
